SERVICES PROVIDED

We provide at the direction of the patient’s physician the following Medicare services:

Skilled Nursing Services - RN's & LVN's provide home care services under the guidance of the patient's physician's order and/or plan of care. The RNs or LVNs also:

  • Educate the client concerning his/her medical conditions, medicines and treatments.
  • Communicate findings, treatment and outcome to and with your physician.
  • Administer wound care, injections and topical agents as directed by your physician.

Some of the disease processes home health nurses can monitor and educate, based
upon your physician’s order/plan of care.

  • Arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Cancer
  • CHF
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension

Home Health Aide - The home health aide performs and assists the patient in all aspects
of personal care and activities of daily living. For example bathing, dressing and grooming; under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Physical Therapy (PT) - The therapist provides treatment concerning disorders of the muscles, bones or joints. They will assess the client’s rehabilitation needs and potential. A therapy program will be implemented based on the patient’s physician’s order.

Speech Therapy - A speech therapist will treat speech disorders through exercise that develop new speech habits; including reading writing and verbal communication under the direction of the patient’s physician’s order.

Occupational Therapy - The therapist will recommend modifications in the physical environment when required to accommodate the patient’s needs. The therapist will provide instruction on self-care, and activities of daily living according to the patient’s physician order.

Respiratory Therapy - A therapist will treat disorders of the lungs based on the patient’s physician’s order.

Nutrition Therapy - A registered dietician will recommend modifications in the patient’s diet, or when required to accommodate the patient’s needs; after obtaining a physician’s order.

Medical Social Worker - A social worker is necessary in resolving social, financial, and emotional problems. Which may be expected to hinder the patient’s medical condition or rate of recovery?
