The agency has more than a decade of experience caring for the elderly in their homes and place of residence in Travis, Williamson and surrounding counties. Home health care provides a less expensive alternative to nursing or long term care facilities for patients needing part time intermittent health care. Often home health services are provided at no cost to the patient or patient’s family. Medicare frequently will pay 100% of the expenses for our services, relieving the burden of the financial responsibility from the patient and family.

How may home health services be obtained?

Most of our clients are referred to us by a physician, hospital, family member or friend. You may contact First Care Home Health Services directly to inquire about our services. In turn we may schedule an initial free assessment with a registered nurse to determine eligibility and need for our services. The patient will not be treated without first obtaining a physician’s order.
