Home Care Attendants:
Are available to eligible Medicaid recipients
through the Department of Aging & Disability
Services (D.A.D.S). A personal attendant will
provide assistance with personal care and light
housekeeping tasks.

• Taking out the trash |

• Cleaning: sweeping, mopping,

vacuuming, light dusting, |
| • Assisting with transferring |
cleaning the bathroom, and |
| • Grocery shopping |
washing dishes. |
| • Escorting the patient to and from doctor’s appointments and the grocery store |
